First, please see The OO Road for contact information for John Ericson who manages this portion of The OO Inventory.
The primary purpose for maintaining this inventory today is to encourage old and new OO SIG members to stay active in the gauge. These items were donated to the SIG to be given to SIG members. The only basic request is that members choose models they are interested to operate or work on and to keep them. Enjoy them for a while!
Reimbursement for shipping is required. Items will be generally be shipped in USPS flat rate boxes to simplify management of the Inventory with a nominal maximum of 8 cars per member per year unless noted otherwise in the listings. (a number of items, however, have languished in the Inventory for some years, and if they really "speak" to you feel free to request a bit more).
Contact John Ericson for information on how to request items and to reimburse him for shipping. As to reimbursement, PayPal is preferred if possible. Please be aware however that PayPal has a 2.9% fee plus $0.30 USD. So for example if it is a USPS flat rate box at $11.35 you would need to send reimbursement for $11.98 to fully cover the mailing expense and PayPal fees so that Ericson actually receives $11.35. Checks are fine too!
As noted in the introductory text, the models in the Inventory from all sources range in condition from very good to poor. I have attempted when possible to have all models in a complete and usable form with decent trucks.
Donations are always welcomed; please contact John Ericson for more information.
